Receiving weather images from NOAA satellites

Crossed dipool for 137.500MHz

Received 18/01/07 from NOAA 17 on 137.620MHz and made with WXtoImg.

After making the antenna (without the reflector) I got this design from ON4AEE, an article from CQ DL.

One dipole is connected to the points C and D.

The other dipool is fed from point C and D with a ¼ wave transformer.

The ¼ wave transformer is made of 75 ohm coax with a length of 360mm.
