ON60ODE @ VTISL Oudenaarde

Sunday (03/06/07) the section ODE was present on an open day of the VTISL in Oudenaarde. Almost al aspects of the HAM hobby wear there. We worked several bands, 40- 20- 15- 10- 2m and 70- 23- 3cm with the special cal ON60ODE (Replacing club cal ON4OB). Trough ATV on the ON0TV repeater everyone was able to see live streaming video from the location.

ON4OB @ VTISL Oudenaarde

Sunday the 3 of june the section ODE will be present at a school in Oudenaarde, the VTI St-Lucas.
There will be several setups, from HF to ATV to Satellite. We hope we can motivate future students to chose for a technical education and to show them our great hobby.

Yes people, I did it! Wednesday 18/04 I past the HAREC exam with a satisfying score of 29/33.
Last Friday I received the license ON8JU.

Especially I would like to thank everyone from de UBA section ODE. Every time I get more and more inspired and the desire to know more and more about telecommunications grows. Thanks for keeping the fire burning!

Appointment for HAREC license

Yesterday 13/03 I received my invitation to participate the exam
to finally receive my HAREC license. The test takes place the 18 of April in Brussels.
Keep your fingers crossed and hopefully in the air soon afterwards.

I hope to get my HAREC license within several weeks. Finally I will be allowed to get QRV. I dint found the time to read and learn the harec-course cause of my studys in electronics. The examination always takes place on Wednesday and during the summer vacations the BIPT bureau is closed.
